Two dead, ten injured in Uluberia Highway collision

Two cars lost control and collided on Uluberia No. 16 National Highway in the Fakir Para area, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and ten injured.

The incident occurred while the vehicles were returning from Bauria in Howrah after attending a funeral, with one car veering off and hitting an electric post before colliding head-on with another vehicle.The deceased have been identified as Prashant Pathak and Bulan Dhara.

Police sources indicate that the accident took place on the way back from a woman's last rites in Bagnan's Muralibar area, underscoring the tragic outcome of the journey.
